We stayed for one month in March 2012. This was our second time at the park. Staff/owners were friendly and helpful, facilities were very clean. and the price was great. We also enjoyed the free concert tickets that you receive for a month or longer stay. Hope they will consider a laundry facility soon as the local ones were not clean.
Clean, quiet and the owners are always available to help with any questions or needs! They have been so welcoming and caring since we moved down almost two years ago! They have a beautiful place!
New owners as of January 2009. Not your spot if you need a pool, shuffleboard courts and all the trimmings. (Although there is an excellent public pool in Brenham, Tx, just 20 miles away). But if you like a well-run park, with spotless shower rooms, and friendly helpful owners, this is your place. Prices are very reasonable. Bonus is that one of the owners is a certified RV technician and will do repairs reasonably while you are there.
New owners have gone bad.....husband gone and many of us that have enjoyed this park for years will not be returning until something has changed. If you like cold showers, no toilet paper and electricity that only works some of the time...this is the place for you. Dixie....we miss you!
Great park, view with a couple of ponds. Laudry, library, bath house and a community center. Lot of local history in the area after all its the birth place of Texas.
